Morocco offers diverse landscapes—Atlantic coast, Mediterranean mountains, steppe, and Sahara desert—which create a wide range of climates. In general:
Winters (Dec–Feb): Cooler, especially at night in the desert and in the mountains.
Summers (Jul–Aug): Hot in the south and desert, but more temperate in the coastal regions.
In the desert, temperatures drop at night, even in spring and autumn.
We recommend packing the following:
Sun protection: Sunscreen, sunglasses, lip balm with SPF.
Comfortable clothing: Loose clothes for the day, a warm jacket for chilly nights.
Good walking shoes and sandals.
Personal care: If you use specific brands of toiletries or tissues, bring them.
Basic medicines: Painkillers, antidiarrheal, anti-insect cream, digestive protectors.
Reusable water bottle and snacks for long drives.
We always carry a first-aid kit, but it’s best to bring your personal medications.
No vaccinations are mandatory for traveling to Morocco.
However, vaccines for Hepatitis A, Typhoid, and Tetanus are generally recommended for rural travel anywhere in the world. Morocco’s dry and sunny climate is ideal for wellness, and Erg Chebbi’s sand baths are even known for therapeutic properties.
For the latest health advice, consult your Ministry of Health or a travel clinic before departure.
Citizens from most countries—including the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, the EU, and many others—do not require a visa for stays of up to 90 days.
You just need a passport valid for at least 3 months from your arrival date.
