Day 1 · City tour
Discover Marrakech with an official local guide: the Koutoubia mosque, the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, the colourful souks and, as the sun sets, the unforgettable Jemaa el-Fna square.

After breakfast, we leave Marrakech.
Drive up through the Asni valley and its Berber villages.

Cross the argan forest, where goats famously climb the trees, and stop at a women's argan cooperative.

A relaxed day to stroll through the UNESCO-listed medina, the ramparts of the Skala, the blue fishing boats of the port and the long sandy beach.

After breakfast, we leave Essaouira.
Follow the wild Atlantic coast road past Tamri and its surf beaches.

Climb into the Anti-Atlas via Aït Baha and its fortified granaries.
We continue via Tafraoute.
Cross the Anti-Atlas plateau via the Berber town of Igherm.

After breakfast, we leave Taroudant.
Stop in Taliouine, the saffron capital of Morocco.
Visit a carpet cooperative in Tazenakht.

Pass through Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Morocco”, with its Taourirt kasbah.
Continue along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs through Kelaat M'Gouna and the Valley of Roses.

Drive past the palm grove of Tinghir.

Cross the oasis of Tinejdad and its ancient khettaras.
Stop in Erfoud, famous for its fossils, and Rissani, the cradle of the Alaouite dynasty.
In the late afternoon we reach Merzouga, where your camels are waiting to take you into the Erg Chebbi dunes for the sunset. Dinner, Berber drums by the fire and a night in the desert camp.
Day 12 · 4x4 desert tour
Explore the Erg Chebbi by 4x4: visit a nomad family, listen to Gnawa music in Khamlia and discover Rissani's market. In the late afternoon, camel trek to the camp for the sunset.

A free day in the dunes: sandboarding, an optional quad or buggy ride, or simply relaxing at the camp. Another night under the stars.

After breakfast, we leave Merzouga.
Stop in Erfoud, famous for its fossils, and Rissani, the cradle of the Alaouite dynasty.
Follow the spectacular Ziz valley and its gorges, lined with palm trees.
