Day 1 · 173 km
Your driver-guide picks you up at your riad or hotel in Marrakech in the morning to start your private journey.
Cross the High Atlas over the Tizi n'Tichka Pass (2,260 m), with breathtaking views of Berber villages.
Detour to the Glaoui kasbah of Telouet and the Ounila valley.
Arrival in Aït Benhaddou. Kasbah hotel in Aït Benhaddou.
Day 2 · 175 km
After breakfast, we leave Aït Benhaddou.
Pass through Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Morocco”, with its Taourirt kasbah.
Continue along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs through Kelaat M'Gouna and the Valley of Roses.
Arrival in Dades Gorges. Hotel in the Dades Gorges.
Day 3 · 285 km
After breakfast, we leave Dades Gorges.
Drive past the palm grove of Tinghir.
Cross the oasis of Tinejdad and its ancient khettaras.
Stop in Erfoud, famous for its fossils, and Rissani, the cradle of the Alaouite dynasty.
In the late afternoon we reach Merzouga, where your camels are waiting to take you into the Erg Chebbi dunes for the sunset. Dinner, Berber drums by the fire and a night in the desert camp.
Day 4 · 4x4 desert tour
Explore the Erg Chebbi by 4x4: visit a nomad family, listen to Gnawa music in Khamlia and discover Rissani's market. In the late afternoon, camel trek to the camp for the sunset.

Day 5 · 477 km
After breakfast, we leave Merzouga.
Stop in Erfoud, famous for its fossils, and Rissani, the cradle of the Alaouite dynasty.
Follow the spectacular Ziz valley and its gorges, lined with palm trees.
Walk among the cedar forest of Azrou and meet the Barbary macaques.
Arrival in Fes. Riad in the Fes medina.
Day 6 · City tour
Explore Fes el-Bali with an official local guide: the Bou Inania madrasa, the Al Quaraouiyine university, the famous tanneries, the Jewish quarter and the gates of the Royal Palace.
