- You can walk part of the way and ride the rest, as you prefer.
- The best months are October to April; summer is very hot.
- Bring sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses and a scarf.

How many days can the trek last?
From 2 to 5 days, or more. We plan the route with you depending on your time and your level.
Do we need to be very fit?
No — you can ride the camel most of the way and walk only when you want.
How do we get to Merzouga?
Merzouga is about 9 hours from Marrakech and 7 hours from Fes. We can include this experience in one of our desert tours, or arrange a private transfer.
