Do we sleep in the desert?
No — after dinner a 4x4 drives you back to your hotel in Merzouga. If you want to sleep in the camp, choose our One Night in the Desert experience.
How long is the camel ride?
About 1 hour 30 minutes through the dunes, with a stop on a high dune to watch the sunset.
Can we ride back by camel instead of the car?
Yes, ask us: we can arrange the return by camel under the stars.
How do we get to Merzouga?
Merzouga is about 9 hours from Marrakech and 7 hours from Fes. We can include this experience in one of our desert tours, or arrange a private transfer.
